Hessian and Lace Country Roses Wedding Cake

This three tier cake featured handmade icing roses and blossoms with accents of hessian and lace, and was displayed on a wooden base for a rustic touch.

Tumbling Berries Wedding Cake

Rustic Buttercream Wedding Cake

We were asked to style a photo backdrop so that guests could create some magical memories by taking pictures of themselves. The rustic theme was echoed in the use of a vintage ladder which was decorated with hessian, lace, and flowers by love lily. The rustic buttercream cake was accented with woven ribbon, vintage crochet lace and twine. The cake sat on a display of vintage crates and a beautiful floral base.

Rustic Brights Window Display

This modern, rustic styled window was the second of two displays created in conjunction with love lily for the Abergavenny Food Festival. The bright paper lanterns suspended from the ceiling complimented the colour palette of the amazing floral accents and contrasted perfectly with the wood of the vintage ladder and trolley. The focal cake was simply iced and decorated with fresh flowers and raffia with the naked cake featuring flowers and physalis. The vintage ladder was perfect for displaying pretty, rustic flower pots, mini, coloured naked sponges and cupcakes.

Rustic Raffia & Sumptuous Fruit Naked cake

This four tier naked cake was decorated with an abundance of berries, red currants and figs; accented with raffia and displayed on a rustic wooden plinth.

Rustic Lace and Burlap Wedding Cake

This rustic design was created for Nicola & Kevin who were married at The Angel Hotel in Abergavenny. Each of the five tiers were covered in vanilla buttercream and decorated with jute, hessian, raffia and vintage cotton lace. The cake was displayed on our wooden wine boxes which were accented with stunning flowers by Love lily, giving a fab pop of colour to the completed design. 

Enchanted, Woodland Wedding

Beth and Deri wanted to create an "enchanted forest" feel, which included fairies and butterflies, therefore the design incorporated several elements that created an ethereal ambiance. The four tier design featured hand painted butterflies and fairies, and clusters of wild, icing flowers that replicated the floral decor at the picturesque venue of Buckland Hall situated in the Brecon Beacons. The cake was displayed on a rustic wooden stand encircled in moss to create a "forest floor". The day was made even more magical by a blanket of glistening white snow, perfect for fairies! The cake itself included tiers of rich Belgian chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling, zingy lemon sponge with zesty lemon curd and lemoncello buttercream and light, moist Victoria sponge with preserve and vanilla buttercream.
