Beth and Chris were married in Buckland Hall set in the stunning scenery of the Welsh countryside. The couple decided on an autumnal colour palatte and wanted to incorporate flowers from the bridal bouquet, autumn leaves and delicate lace that embellished the bride's dress into the overall design. The completed three tier cake featured handpainted autumnal leaves that appeared to "dance in the breeze" to the top and bottom tiers, hand-piped embroidery that echoed that of the brides dress to the middle tier, and finished with a posy of deep red roses to the top tier. The imposing stone building, the mist hanging over the mountain hills and the venue decor all added to the gothic feel of the day. The cake consisted of three delicious layers of varying flavour and these were supplemented by a Vegan cake as the bride wanted to include all the guests in the cake ceremony.
