Rustic Lace and Burlap Wedding Cake

This rustic design was created for Nicola & Kevin who were married at The Angel Hotel in Abergavenny. Each of the five tiers were covered in vanilla buttercream and decorated with jute, hessian, raffia and vintage cotton lace. The cake was displayed on our wooden wine boxes which were accented with stunning flowers by Love lily, giving a fab pop of colour to the completed design. 

Wedgewood Blue Birthday Cake

This design was inspired by the classic Wedgewood blue colour palette - featuring vintage lace, handmade icing peonies and hydrangeas.

Period drama

This vintage design was created for Danielle and Dan who wanted to incorporate the lace that featured in elements of their venue styling. The cake was adorned with a bouquet of handmade icing peonies, roses and hydrangea blossoms in hues of ivory and delicate pink to co-ordinate with the stunning flowers displayed at the venue. The top and base tiers were hand piped with vintage style pearl embroidery which was accented with beautiful lace, this lace also featured on the middle tier in its entirety. Cascading hydrangea blossoms and a vintage glass cake stand completed the design.

Cupcakes & Shoes!

Jenna & Stephen's cake featured a top tier with handmade bride & groom cake topper, mini cakes and cupcakes all displayed on a statuesque acrylic stand. Each of the mini cakes were decorated with lace and handmade icing shoes and cameos. The cupcakes were decorated with handmade icing roses, blossoms, ruffled flowers, bows and cameos in hues of ivory and shots of fuchsia pink.

Elegant pleats

This elegant four tier design created for the lovely Melissa & Simon featured elements to reflect the bridal gown. The base and third tiers were adorned with icing pleats hand embroidered with a lace design and completed with delicate crystal and pearl detailing and a vintage brooch. The handmade icing roses, petals and hydrangea blossoms cascaded gently down the tiers toward the vintage glass cake stand.

Lily of the Valley

This simple, yet elegant design created for Bryony & Brady featured vintage lace and a delicate, lily of the valley fresh flower bouquet by the talented Love Lily. The venue, Brynich Barn, in the stunning Brecon Beacons was a the perfect setting for an intimate wedding - rustic charm at its best!

Hey Minnie!!

This Minnie Mouse inspired birthday cake was created for Isla's 2nd birthday. The modern design, with a vintage twist, in hues of pink, white and black combined pretty bows, polka dots, Minnie Mouse bunting and of course a set of black mouse ears! The cake itself was our signature Belgian chocolate cake oozing with rich Belgian chocolate ganache.
