Cath Kidston Birthday Cake 2


Another Cath Kidston inspired cake in hues of pink, blue and crisp white for a 21st birthday celebration. This design included hand painted bunting, complete with mini icing bow accents, and a hand painted gift tag to the base tier; hand painted floral design to the second tier and finally a pretty hand made icing bow to the top. The cake included a tier of light, moist Victoria sponge filled with rich vanilla buttercream and strawberry conserve and a zingy, lemon tier filled with Lemoncello buttercream and zesty lemon curd.

Pretty Pastels Rose Cascade Wedding Cake


The design of this cake was based on the original created by Peggy Porschen, and featured handmade icing roses, hydrangeas, ranunculas and blossoms in hues of ivory, pastel pink, and muted lilac. Each tier of the cake was accented with satin ribbon and vintage lace to compliment the lace detailing to the bridal gown. The icing flowers cascaded down the cake, culminating in a fresh floral base to give additional impact to the five tier design. The handmade icing roses complimented the Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Art Nouveau, styling at the venue which was bathed in rays of spring sunshine - wonderful weather for a fantastic family. The cake itself combined layers of light Victoria sponge with layers of vanilla buttercream and conserve and rich Belgian chocolate cake oozing with decadent chocolate ganache. Cath Kidston Birthday Cake



This Cath Kidston inspired cake was created for a 21st birthday celebration. The design included a handmade icing bow, hand painted floral pattern to the middle tier and board, and hand painted bunting - all influenced by the original created by Cotton & Crumbs.

Vintage lace wedding cake



This simple, yet elegant, three tier design incorporated lace and handmade, pink ruffled flowers. The bride wanted to create a vintage feel that included a bow detail to echo that of her dress. The cake itself, three tiers of decadent Belgian chocolate cake filled with layers of rich Belgian chocolate ganache.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Cake



This two tier birthday cake for a special 1st birthday celebration featured a very hungry caterpillar. The brightly coloured design included icing caterpillar, butterfly and ladybirds all munching on some delicious food!!

Enchanted, Woodland Wedding

Beth and Deri wanted to create an "enchanted forest" feel, which included fairies and butterflies, therefore the design incorporated several elements that created an ethereal ambiance. The four tier design featured hand painted butterflies and fairies, and clusters of wild, icing flowers that replicated the floral decor at the picturesque venue of Buckland Hall situated in the Brecon Beacons. The cake was displayed on a rustic wooden stand encircled in moss to create a "forest floor". The day was made even more magical by a blanket of glistening white snow, perfect for fairies! The cake itself included tiers of rich Belgian chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling, zingy lemon sponge with zesty lemon curd and lemoncello buttercream and light, moist Victoria sponge with preserve and vanilla buttercream.
