This simple, three tier design featured hand made icing Calla lily sprays to the top and base tiers, which reflected the flowers featured in the bridal bouquet. The bride and groom wanted to incorporate a diamante buckle and ribbon gather to echo that of the invitation, and this created the focal point to the middle tier. The cake consisted of three tiers of Victoria sponge filled with layers of rich vanilla buttercream and strawberry conserve.
